The Toyota Supra, an undisputed JDM legend, has always been one of the most highly sought-after and tuneable sports cars from Japan. When the highly anticipated A90 GR Supra was released, it was instantly adopted by JDM tuning houses, despite its German engineering roots. Veilside made its mark with one of the boldest and most aggressive designs in its history—adding unmistakable JDM flair and making the A90 completely its own.
We simply couldn’t resist bringing this project to life. The full widebody kit was sourced directly from Japan, representing the largest and most extreme body modification we have ever fitted. The scale is monumental: the bonnet itself could cover a postcode, and the rear hips are so wide it easily accommodates a gigantic 315-width tyres paired with aggressive -50-series negative offsets. The specifications of this build are nothing short of absolutely bonkers yet subtle. Keeping the theme all black it evidently gives a DARK KNIGHT presence. We opt’d for a set of custom built wheels by local Australian company Koya: KT135 6061-T6 Forged Aluminum Centre & Barrel 3 piece wheels with gloss brushed lips and matte black centre.
Our design scope was simple: To build Australia’s first-ever Veilside A90 Supra. The result is a clean, mean machine that forces bystanders to take a second look, every single time. It commands attention—kids often mistake it for a supercar or even Batman’s ride. We think it pays homage to original JZA80 Supra.
